Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist II in Jersey City, NJ.Duties:Assess data synergies and develop models or algorithms for identifying important information in our data in conjunction with various external datasets. Develop customized models for development partners. Link data and information together in new innovative ways in constructing client-focused products leading to actionable intelligence for business and government decision makers. Create proof-of-concepts demonstrations to illustrate specific technologies and algorithms as well as robust operational systems than can be put into production. Leverage unstructured data and real-time data streams to dynamically adjust predictive outcomes. Execute data analysis and modeling projects from project/sample design, business review meetings with internal and external clients deriving requirements/deliverables, reception and processing of data, performing analyses and modeling to final reports/presentations, communication of results and sales support. Utilize advanced statistical techniques to create high-performing predictive models and creative analyses to address business objectives and client needs. Demonstrate to internal and external customers how analysis can be implemented to maximize business strategies including cost benefit analyses.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field; plus 2 years of experience as an Analyst or in a related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience in each of the following: (1) Statistics (2) Machine learning modeling (3) SQL (4) Python Programming. Requires 1 year of experience in (5) Data Exploration and Visualization.$82,763 to $117,850 per year.
