Group Details

Tradeweb Direct is seeking a C++/Python Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an autonomous development group that is tasked with re-engineering our current platform. This involves a complete re-architecture of our Tradeweb Direct Retail Platform with technology that allows for scalable real-time execution.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Tradeweb Direct Capital Markets environment.

  • Assist with dev ops related projects to migrate legacy infrastructure to more modern infrastructure and automating the migration process using Python/Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the systems architecture

  • Be involved in real-time assessment of issues and help develop solutions

  • Build and design solutions that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies

  • Automate processes and systems to enable greater scale and speed

  • Maintain existing code base.

  • Take part in performance & capacity monitoring and planning

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Java development

  • Strong skills in Java - collections, data structures, design patterns, multithreaded programming, micro service architecture, server-side infrastructure

  • Experience with Windows/Unix or Linux

  • Experience working with SQL

  • Experience with Perl, Python, or similar high-level scripting language.

  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills.

  • MS Computer Science or similar

  • This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb’s discretionary bonus program.

  • This role is expected to remain open until 12/23/25.
