Associate Data Scientist, U.S. Data Strategy, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ: Responsible to write R code to automate existing financial reporting process to reduce resource time. Support new automation projects that require R code including data quality controls automation and regulatory report automation. Create solutions for data remediation items and perform root cause analysis. Work with cross-functional groups (Information Technology, Finance) to create solutions for data-related issues. Support monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting and financial reporting processes to execute and write queries for automation. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in applied Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in: • R statistical programming language; • Writing SQL queries; • Working with data structures and relational databases; and, • Data management concepts and process documentation, specifically as applied to relational database architectures, and data quality analysis. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.The base salary for this job is $123,656.00 per year.
