Assistant Vice President (FX Prime Brokerage) for BNP Paribas RCC Inc. in Jersey City, NJ, as a member of the Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage (FXPB) Middle Office Team, ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing across a broad range of products. Participate and lead client onboarding processes, including user acceptance testing, internal setup, external setup, and “go-live” calls. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies during and subsequent to transaction process. Work directly with clients and escalate clients’ trade-related issues to senior management. Analyze and respond to client queries with respect to client reporting on BNPP’s proprietary website, Data Direct. Work closely with IT developers defining infrastructure upgraders and maintenance requests. Manage trade life cycle events, including daily option exercises, expirations, non-deliverable forwards (NDF) fixings, compression, and Novations. Interact daily with all internal stakeholders (both direct and indirect) supporting the FXPB business, including Risk, Credit, Legal, Collateral, BO, Sales, and IT Monitor Limit utilization throughout the day for the OTC, FXPB, and ETD businesses. Investigate and report any policy breaches. Distribute monthly invoices and monitor fee collection. Perform ad hoc projects related to internal controls, MIS reporting, process improvements, client-specific reporting requirements, and integration enhancements. Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in an Assistant Vice President (FX Prime Brokerage) or similar occupation supporting foreign exchange prime brokerage within an international bank or international financial services institution or, Alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in an Assistant Vice President (FX Prime Brokerage) or similar occupation supporting foreign exchange prime brokerage within an international bank or international financial services institution. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (DE) working with FX Spot, Forward, and Options; DE leveraging Traiana’s multi-platform offerings to manage and create Designation Notices; DE supporting Net Open Position (NOP) limits and applying them to external Electronic Communications Networks (ECN) limit monitoring and management; DE working with novation process and leveraging Capitolis, the FX prime brokerages’ industry portfolio optimization tool; and DE working with trading execution platforms to manage and setup trading flows for clients.
