Responsible for daily P&L financial analysis, validation, risk analysis and reporting for fixed income derivatives trading desk. Conduct financial analyses and provide explanations of changes in rate curves, volatilities, credit spreads, and exchange-traded product prices in multiple currencies. Ensure trades and their complete life cycle are recorded and posted on the General Ledger according to US GAAP. Monitor trading activity for ad-hoc valuations and trade reserves. Support month-end closing activities including independent price verification of rates, vols, spreads, and price-based products. Prepare various month-end reports for internal and external reporting. Perform process control analysis, including evaluating financial internal controls to identify weaknesses and propose process and control enhancements, and then collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and IT to implement process and control improvements.Requirements:Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or as Senior Associate.**At least one year of the required experience must have included performing risk assessments and pricing procedures over alternative investments, loans, bonds, and equities; performing financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side projects for private equity investors; analyzing monthly financial data and identifying historical and projected financial trends; reviewing and evaluating financial statements and SEC filings for consistency and fairness; planning, performing, and completing interim and year-end audits in accordance with the U.S. (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards; performing inquiry, recalculation, observation and other substantive procedures for the integrity of company’s financial data; developing quality of earnings reports in consideration of EBITDA adjustments; and utilizing data analytics tools Power Query, Power Pivot, and Alteryx to generate sophisticated financial data models.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Jersey CIty, NJ office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI
