Service Delivery Center ‒ Wealth Management Operations Senior Analyst: This position could be located in NJ, NY.

Wealth Management operations support focuses on supporting financial services clients with managing wealth management business operations, including but not limited to client onboarding, account opening, account maintenance, portfolio model maintenance, trade support, position management, reconciliation and performance management. Wealth management operations cover different industry participants such as broker/dealers, private banks, registered investment advisors, asset management, and retirement plan sponsors. As we continue to deliver a broad range of operations management services to financial services firms, we need your help to build our capabilities.

The opportunity

As a Senior Analyst you will play a key role in defining the evolution of wealth management operations while helping financial institutions streamline their business and run more effectively and efficiently. We use unparalleled insights and tools that support the wealth management industry and related issues to help management complex business and technical processes and help our clients provide preeminent experiences for their clients, advisors and bankers.

Your key responsibilities

Performing operational tasks and reviewing work of other team members with diverse backgrounds to ensure completed according to client directed policies and procedures. Driving high quality work products within expected timeframes and budget. Monitoring progress, managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Review and assess negative trends in status reports and trend analysis with leadership to develop and implement possible solutions. Bring strong attention to detail and judgement skills to ensure work is complete and accurate and to escalate to leadership when appropriate.

Skills and attributes for success

Delivering client requirements in a regulatory driven environment, process improvements, and understanding operationally complex wealth management and transaction-related activities, among other operations-related responsibilities. Developing relationships with team members across all teams.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience related to operational management in the financial services industry; 2 years of which in wealth management operations is preferred but not required

  • A degree in business or related discipline

  • Analytical skills, especially those related to understanding money laundering trends and other financial crimes.

  • Strong proven communication skills demonstrated through effective writing and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Effective teaming, project management, and organizational skills.

  • An understanding of financial products and services including those related to broker/dealers, private banks, asset management, securities, financial technology or private equity.

  • An interest in working in an environment which encourages continuous learning, development and identification of opportunities for improvement of individual and team performance.

  • A willingness to travel on an exception basis, less than 5%, for client needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience related to wealth management operations, including processing of account transactions, security transactions, position maintenance, and process monitoring

  • Experience overseeing the work of junior team members including coaching and mentoring experience

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $62,900 to $128,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $75,500 to $146,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
