Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial records accurately. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate is a competent professional with an excellent understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconciliation of bank statements and credit cards regularly.

• Maintain a chart of accounts, assigning entries to proper accounts.

• Process payroll in a timely manner.

• Prepare accurate quarterly and annual financial reports.

• Create and analyze financial reports.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.

• Aid in the management of the budget.

• Communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Coordinate with the senior management, providing necessary details for business decision-making.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field pref.

• Proven bookkeeping experience.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

• Experience with accounting software, Excel, and other business software.

• Strong data entry skills along with proficiency in mathematics.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle data integrity and transactions.

• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
