First Urology PSC Facilities Assistant in Jeffersonville, Indiana
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team for a day shift position. The ideal candidate can multi-task job responsibilities between two different departments. Morning shift will include working with inventory, purchasing, deliveries, and laundry. Afternoon shift will include working with building maintenance to perform duties such as painting and plastering, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, making repairs and moving furniture. Candidate will also assist in the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all occupants. Duties - Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly - Move heavy equipment and furniture - Assist with repairs and maintenance tasks related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building upkeep - Perform minor carpentry work, painting, and other tasks as needed - Operate company vehicle to deliver materials to other offices Skills - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues - Proficiency with repair tools and techniques - Ability to lift heavy equipment and walk and stand for long periods of time - Experience in painting and plastering for touch-ups and small projects - Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring - Communication skills to coordinate facility maintenance tasks effectively - General repair and industrial cleaning - Previous experience in facilities maintenance is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits:
