The Role at a Glance

This position provides executive and strategic leadership to achieve key business objectives. They will lead & oversee the strategic development, planning, evaluation & execution of new business plan implementation, deconversions, payroll conversions services, business plan communications and strategic project support for Retirement Plan Services. They will also provide thought leadership and oversight to ensure that programs strategically achieve key business objects of the enterprise and/or area of responsibility.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversees/leads the strategic development & implementation of new plans, deconversions, payroll conversions services, business plan communications and strategic project support and ensures they achieve key business objectives for the enterprise and/or RPS.

  • Provides strategic direction regarding regulatory compliance changes in the retirement space, identifies the operational impact, and leads the department in developing needed mitigation plans

  • Builds, drives and ensures the quality of outstanding service to plan sponsors, intermediaries, third party administrators and internal stakeholders, resulting in client satisfaction while simultaneously promoting efficiency, quality, and client focus.

  • Utilizes highly specialized expertise in retirement plans to develop, identify and implement best practices and strategic process improvements with respect to implementation of new plans, plan maintenance, document and compliance services.

  • Leads and oversees efficient and cost effective operations by ensuring a culture of continuous operational improvements.

  • Ensures the development & maintenance of an effective org including: efficient workflow patterns; established performance standards; effective delineation of duties/responsibilities; suitable staffing levels; workforce/demand mgmt; appropriate supervision.

  • Leads or participates in industry, enterprise or cross-functional strategic projects to enhance client experience through delivery of improved functionality and/or additional service offerings.

  • Manages and is responsible for single or multiple functional area budgets, and plans, assigns, and coordinates work of the multiple functional areas.

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for the retirement space, assesses the impact, and collaborates with executive/senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.

  • Leads the identification, development, and implementation of strategic process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, business unit, and/or the RPS organization

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

  • 12+ Years of increasing financial & operational management experience within the financial services industry including experience influencing SR Management & critical stakeholders. Including 5+ years of SR Management experience in a large complex organization including influencing Sr Management and critical stakeholder responsibility (Required)

  • At least 5+ years of retirement plan services experience

Nice-to-haves:

  • Operations, implementation, Client Relationship and/or Sales experience within the retirement plan services industry.

  • Series 6 or 26 license

The pay range for this position is $150,100 - $273,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
