The Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition, operates independently and is responsible for resolving talent acquisition issues such as candidate screening, evaluation, selection, and recruitment strategies with fairness and consistency, ensuring timely resolution. The role designs Standard Operating Protocols and benchmarks to guide the operational day-to-day tasks of the talent acquisition function, including talent planning, candidate sourcing, screening, selection, offer rollout and negotiation, and new hire onboarding to achieve the objectives of efficiently and effectively fulfilling the talent needs of the organization. Additionally, the role serves as a subject matter expert on all recruitment planning and execution subjects, providing guidance to leaders and consulting with teams on various work processes and practices, supporting the hiring needs across the organization.
What you'll do…
Collaborates with stakeholders to design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organization-wide practices for daily tasks across talent staffing and planning, job advertising and posting, candidate evaluation and screening, and candidate interactions. Ensures fairness, consistency, and compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Partners with hiring managers and other HR team members to develop effective and thorough sourcing strategies based on ongoing market intelligence of the talent landscape, keeping them informed of sourcing efforts throughout the process. Executes and enhances continuous sourcing strategies, including networking, participation in career fairs, and building relationships with targeted colleges/universities and professional associations to maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future openings.
Serves as a subject matter expert and primary administrator for various recruitment systems, including HCM systems, recruitment management systems, and other applicant tracking systems. Collaborates with multiple HR functions, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and compatibility between different recruitment systems.
Provides advisory and consultation services on technical matters related to the Talent Acquisition function, such as maintaining the organization’s online presence, recruitment marketing and advertising, employer branding, ensuring data privacy and compliance, and relationships with external vendors. Leverages expertise in recruitment-related topics to provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in the organization in alignment with established practices, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance as the organization's principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the domain.
Designs and develops training programs for hiring managers across departments, focusing on talent acquisition subjects such as candidate sourcing, interview techniques, and talent assessment to achieve efficient and effective talent acquisition practices, aligned with the organization's overarching objectives and industry trends/best practices.
Represents the organization when dealing with regulatory bodies, external consultants/vendors, and other agencies on recruitment matters and ensures that the organizational interests and objectives are supported.
Leads internal continuous improvement projects such as optimizing sourcing channels, optimizing employer branding efforts, enhancing candidate experiences etc. to enhance talent acquisition workflows and processes. Collaborates with stakeholders to develop solutions aligned with long-term plans.
Designs standards, processes, and templates for maintaining accurate and confidential records and data related to talent acquisition matters. Develops associated reports and analytics to monitor talent acquisition trends, enabling the identification of areas for improvement or intervention.
Demonstrates exceptional expertise in a range of talent acquisition subjects including candidate sourcing, assessment methods, and recruitment strategies. Guides senior leaders on matters pertaining to talent acquisition, contributing to the development and execution of effective talent acquisition initiatives.

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
Minimum 8 years of work experience, preferably in Human Resources, or a related field.
