ManpowerGroup Construction Safety Manager in Jefferson City, Missouri

Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager, you will be part of the safety department supporting the project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri

Pay Range: $30 to $40 per hour w-2 depending upon your experience

Duration- 12month contract

What's the Job?

  • Lead construction safety for the project team, collaborating with local, regional, and global resources while adhering to safety regulations.

  • Develop and execute the construction safety strategy in partnership with project and construction teams.

  • Ensure compliance with construction safety policies and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct training sessions for project and construction teams on safety protocols.

  • Implement emergency evacuation simulations and investigate incidents to enhance safety measures.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Sustainability preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.

  • Proven ability to influence and lead safety initiatives within a diverse team.

  • Experience with risk assessments and developing safety culture in the workplace.
