Parsons Corporation Senior Cost manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cost Manager to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and manage the commercial aspects of component projects, including coordination with all stakeholders.
Exercise a qualified level of cost management, including cost planning, controlling, and reporting proficiency.
Create and maintain reports to accurately reflect current budgets, invoices, committed costs, projected-to-go or cost-to-complete estimates, budget variances, cash flow projections, and schedule of values for individual projects.
Provide trending information to assist in forecasting potential cost and time issues.
Manage work breakdown structures and revisions.
Coordinate conceptual estimates for various design and construction estimates to provide program budgets.
Develop and maintain an automated program cost database.
Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations.
Provide an annual fiscal budget and past period cost performance report.
Provide a monthly consolidated program cost performance report.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 20 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in Ports projects is an added advantage.
Construction experience in change order review and negotiations process is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience working on large programs of small works is beneficial.
Proven construction experience in estimating, bidding, and job cost preparation, as well as an understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and general construction management principles, is required.
