Responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of acquisition and sustainment network engineering and methodologies as defined in DoDI 5000.2, and AFI 63‐101.

  • Provide expert level contributions to adapt networks, firewalls, and gateway components, systems, and interfaces to the Cyber Agile Acquisition process used in the Cyberspace weapon system.

  • Possess knowledge of high volume, high speed, high reliability network architectures, domain controllers, and be able to combine the interaction of these systems to provide DoDAF quality network diagrams that solve complex sustainment requirements.

  • Possess detailed knowledge of specialized Cyber specific functions, and how to trade off various performance metrics (latency, collisions, secure channels, etc.) to improve the performance of the Cyberspace weapon systems.

  • Experience and skills to identify and propose upgrade road-maps in hardware and software to the existing Cyberspace weapon systems to accommodate future capabilities that are currently being planned.

  • Capability to produces artifacts of a quality that can assist other members of the Integrated Product Team (Engineering, Program Management, Cyber-security, and Product Support) to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of Cyber acquisitions and sustainment initiatives.

  • Capability to provide detailed technical baselines and recommended viable solutions and alternative courses of action directly to the Program Manager in an independent fashion.

  • Shall be able to work proactively, with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate orally and in writing to produce quality acquisition and program documentation and associated artifacts (briefings, documents, plans, reports, estimates, etc.).

  • Possess advanced knowledge of the Cyber and Networking domains to support quick reaction efforts that involve high intensity collaboration between MAJCOM requirements, Acquisition IPTs, and the Warfighter. These high intensity quick reaction efforts may involve the tailoring and streamlining of traditional networking solutions by using leadership, teamwork, and diplomacy. Often times, the contributions of the Contractor will result in new or innovative processes that satisfy specific Cyber‐oriented objectives.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Active TS/SCI required;

  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience with participation in an Acquisition Program ACAT level III or higher.

  • Active Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience with participation in all phases (Material Solution Analyst, Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production & Development, Operations & Support) of an ACAT level III or higher.

  • Active Certifications in Certified Information System Security Professional - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP - ISSAP) is a plus

  • Familiarity with the Cyberspace Weapon Systems, or equivalent Enterprise Level Passive/Active Information Protection and Monitoring System.
