GEA MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT US INC Technical Repair Project Coordinator in JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Roles And Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Repair Coordinator with strong mechanical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to manage repair orders, provide accurate repair cost estimates, and ensure timely completion of repair projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently Customer Interaction and Repair Orders: Work with customers to set up new repair orders, including issuing Return Good Authorizations (RGAs). Obtain and verify proper safety information. Initiate inspection of customer\'s equipment with repair shops. Repair Cost Estimation: Interpret information provided by repair shops and technical advisors. Calculate repair costs and prepare written estimates for submission to customers. Repair Progress Coordination: Coordinate and monitor the progress of repairs. Follow up on part shortages to ensure timely completion. Update the repair Access database with current delivery information from production meetings. Rental Equipment Management: Handle all customer requests for rental equipment and exchange items. Maintain records of the rental fleet. Coordinate the reconditioning of the rental fleet. Invoicing and Billing: Perform final calculations for repair invoices. Handle billing processes efficiently. Mechanical Experience: Proven experience in a mechanical or technical field, preferably involving equipment repair and maintenance. Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret technical information and repair shop reports. Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in preparing estimates, maintaining records, and handling billing. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using databases, particularly Access, and other relevant software for record-keeping and communication.
