Job Title: General Laborer - Metal Manufacturing

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a leading metal manufacturing company that supplies parts primarily for the auto industry, including major clients like Ford and GM, as well as high-end kitchen appliance manufacturer Sub Zero. We are expanding into the Government and Military sectors, making this an exciting time to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading parts at presses, furnaces, and deburring units, as well as packaging parts per specifications. This role provides exposure to different departments and job duties, offering a comprehensive experience in the manufacturing environment.

Hard Skills

• 6 months of manufacturing experience

• Ability to count cycle runs

• Lifting up to 35 lbs

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

You will work in a very large facility of around 700 employees and 400,000 sq.ft. The environment is loud and dirty, requiring steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt without rips or holes. Shift options include 1st shift (6:25am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm with a $1.50 premium), and 3rd shift (10pm-6am with a $2.50 premium). Overtime may be required, with potential work extending to every other Saturday after the initial 90 days.
