What You'll Be Doing
Oversee crew and public safety for each project for which he/she is supervising
Ensure quality of work that meets Lehigh Hanson and customer specifications
Report production, labor, and equipment use on a daily basis.
Plan and Coordinate paving schedules with the Hanson HMA Plants. Maintain on-going communication with sales and production staff as needed.
Work with the Environmental and Safety Departments to ensure all laws and regulations are always met. Help to establish and maintain safe working environments for all. Monitor and recommend changes as necessary.
Communicate almost daily with the Construction Manager to discuss progress, schedules, and other various issues.
Daily scheduling of material delivery trucks as necessary
Ensure job specific specifications are met as required.
Develop & Maintain good working relationships with project owners.
Ensures compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures
What Are We Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Works Projects.
High school diploma or GED required with additional training/education in the construction field preferred
Ability to work different shifts, holidays and/or overtime as required
Must have good communication and management skills
Must possess ability to deal directly with owners, engineers and inspectors
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
$25.75 per hour.
