TheOperations Aidesare part of the program milieu staff and provide overall supervision and support in the program elements to ensure the timely execution of facility schedule, safety, and client compliance

The salary range is $21.97 - $24.72/hr

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate and verify client movement throughout the facility.

  • Assist with client induction into the program working closely with intake staff.

  • Reports incidents, accidents and client concerns or problems to appropriate clinical staff or supervisor.

  • Documents status of facility in proper log book.

  • Monitor client conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty.

  • Distributes client's property (including searches) or mail.

  • Conducts searches for contraband according to established organizational policy.

  • Conducts crisis intervention counseling to clients exhibiting disruptive/unusual behavior.

  • Conducts rounds on an hourly basis to assess clients conduct plus ensure the ongoing safety and cleanliness of the facility. Communicate facility needs to facilities staff and/or supervisor via work orders.

  • Obtain and distribute to counseling staff court, HRA and other documents needed from clients.

  • Participate in case conferences and case reviews as needed.

  • Assist with coordinating and escorting clients on healthy walks, recreational activities, etc. as needed.

  • May assist with distributing WAM and other incentives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma required.

  • Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year related counseling experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health.

  • CASAC Certification preferred.

  • Obtain within six months of hire:

  • Supporting Recovery with Medications Addictions Treatment (MAT)

  • Obtain within thirty days of hire:

  • Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment

  • CASAC Canon of Ethics (6 hours)

  • Confidentiality related to 42CFR (3 Hours)

  • Mandated reporter (2 hours)

  • Excellent organizational, reporting, recordkeeping skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

  • Ability to organize and maintain detailed records; complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to make decisions based on education preparation and experience, which reflect consistency with Agency philosophy, policies and procedures, standards of care and review body requirements.

  • Bilingual – Spanish speaking a plus.
