Royal Waste is now hiring for a Maintenance Clerk to join our maintenance team in Jamaica.

The pay range for this job category is $23-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Bilingual Strongly Preferred- Spanish and English

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for vehicle registrations, renewals, and title transfers to be in compliance with DOT/MVC/BIC.

• Remain current with federal, state, and local vehicle registration regulations to ensure all fleet vehicles comply with legal requirements.

• Work closely with maintenance team to coordinate the registration and licensing of new vehicles as they are added to the fleet.

• Coordinate with vendors and act as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies, DMV offices, and other related entities.

• Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail. Process incoming checks and create bank deposits.

• Order office supplies as needed and oversee maintenance and servicing of office equipment.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports as needed, using Excel.

• Promote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices.

• Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.

• Assist with special projects or tasks assigned by accounting department.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast paced work environment.

• Strong work experience utilizing MS Word, Excel and Outlook professionally.

• Exceptional organizing and coordinating skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Ability to learn company specific programs and policies.
