Royal Waste is in search of a Billing Clerk based in Queens, NY . The salary range for this role is $22.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am -5:00pm position with competitive pay & excellent benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Billing Manager with accurate billing. Follow preset schedule. Ensure that statements are sent in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy to minimize calls to district CSRs.

• Support WCI users and customers in the use of our on-line bill presentment/payment website. Offer suggestions for improvement and work with website host to implement changes to enhance our customers’ on-line bill pay experience.

• During conversions, run test billing as requested. Reconcile revenue figures and aging's with legacy reports.

• Daily-Working with other departments to ensure correct billing

• Perform Weekly - Running reports to prepare accounts for billing, done at least 2x per month, analyzing data and making corrections as needed

• Perform Monthly - Preparing invoices for select customers

• As needed-Preparing and explaining audits to customers who question their bill

• Provide second level support to Help Desk.

• Run error checking reports and work with districts to ensure data integrity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of Billing Clerk experience preferred , but willing to train the right candidate.

• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Email preferred . Typing skills are required.

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
