PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees preparation of monthly financial statements and responsible for compliance and adherence with GAAP and Company policies and procedures
Coordinates the annual plan, quarterly forecasts and periodic Flash submissions, including presentation of results to Company Leadership
Work directly with President on long-term strategy and expansion opportunities
Evaluate and identify opportunities for system enhancements; partner with the Information Systems team to assess opportunities
Oversee requests for capital investment. Serves as the risk manager for the manufacturing division and oversees litigation management
Works with internal and external audit staff
Partners with and provides counsel to functional leaders in order to drive enhanced business results
Identify process opportunities to enhance financial performance

Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated leadership within the finance/accounting departments of a manufacturing company
Demonstrated partnership with operational leadership in a manufacturing organization
Ability to convey financial results to operational leaders while providing areas of opportunity for improvement
Takes full ownership of business and financial results; works with other business leaders proactively to improve financial results
Experience with manufacturing ERP(s) is preferred
Ability to leverage analytical skills to identify opportunities and communicate those with operators
Experience presenting financial information and strategy to company leadership
Experience preparing analysis and justification for capital investment for manufacturing/distribution equipment
Process-oriented individual with ability to implement enhanced processes that ensure proper financial controls while enhancing the operations
Operates with the highest degree of integrity and sets the tone for the manufacturing organization in this area
Experience with sales/use tax and ability to partner with tax professionals to optimize sales/use tax structure

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)
Certified Public Accounting license (active or inactive) strongly preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 years public accounting/expanded manufacturing experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reports
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and manage long-term projects
Strong Excel skills
