Citigroup VP / Financial Crimes Policy Change Management Project Manager in Jacksonville, Florida

This fusion will streamline accountability and responsibility for Risk & Control activities and deliver process consistency to protect the firm against emerging financial crime risks.
Description of the Role:
The Financial Crimes Global Policy Adherence & Engagement Team within the FCFP organization supports the delivery and ongoing direction of a comprehensive Financial Crimes Program in partnership with multiple functions such as Compliance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Audit, and multiple stakeholders at all levels of management. This team is responsible for fostering a culture of control and compliance, customer centricity and accountability while leading efforts to identify, anticipate and mitigate AML, Sanctions and Ant-Bribery regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. Specifically, the Financial Crimes Policy Change Management Senior Project Manager will support change management activities related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions/Screening, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) for USPB. Scope of coverage includes CIP (Customer Information Program), KYC (Know Your Customer), AML, Transaction Monitoring (TM, CTR, etc.), and screening (sanctions and non-sanctions), and AB&C. This role falls under the Compliance Bus Control Sr Analyst job code.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Financial Crimes Policy Change Management Program with delivering on the Financial Crimes Policy/Reg change strategy and the end-to-end Policy Change Management activities.
Complete project management requirements for Policy change including gathering feedback from key stakeholders, understanding Policy changes and its impacts, drafting of communications and creating artifacts to meet Citi change management, project management, and policy requirements.
Communicate Policy Changes and provide regular updates on AML Policy and Standard approvals, publications, and implementation timelines.
Resolve obstacles with implementation of policy changes and/or meeting deadlines by providing additional guidance and/or facilitating discussion with Policy Owner(s) and Compliance to gain acceptable solution(s)
Develop robust materials for various Policy Change Management routines suitable for a variety of stakeholder audiences.
Facilitate/host meetings and routine calls ensuring meeting minutes are complete, accurate, and shared with stakeholders in a timely manner. Identify and track action items to completion.
Support design and ongoing evolution of Financial Crimes Policy Change Management program modernizing routines and processes to maximize value and insights. Leverage communication and influencing skills to guide effective and efficient Policy Change Management.
Keeps abreast of the organization’s operational processes and best practices for business strategy.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across Financial Crimes 1LOD (Operations, Policy Adherence, Procedures, etc.), Compliance (ACRM/ICRM), Business Control teams, etc., so that changes are aligned with strategy and department efforts, regular two-way communication exists, and downstream impacts are considered.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience across multiple disciplines with preferred expertise within AML/KYC Policy, Operations, Policy Adherence, Procedures, Training, Quality, Compliance and/or Risk and Control.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner and influence cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization without direct managerial authority.
Requires strong understanding of the expectations of the Personal Banking and Global Wealth businesses in meeting risk and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in project and change management experience or certification a plus (PMP), preferably in Financial Crimes environment.
Team player that demonstrates and promotes a positive team culture.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Advanced MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills
