Legacy Solutions is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers for K-12 classrooms. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teachers. You will implement lesson plans, manage classroom environments, and facilitate learning in a supportive and professional manner. We have temporary and permanent subs roles available.

Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create engaging and effective lesson plans as needed.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
• Deliver instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and administrators.
• Complete required administrative tasks, such as attendance reporting and grading assignments.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Valid teaching certificate or license (preferred).
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and grade levels.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
