Seeking an employee that can fill the workload for Felony Intake. Performing special and unique assignments in support of the Assistant State Attorney’s prosecution of criminal cases.

Essential Job functions:

  • Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours.

  • Ability to focus and pay attention to detail.

  • Effective and efficient communication skills and ability to interact professionally with other employees, members of the public and stakeholders.

  • Perform quality work within deadlines.

  • Ability to read and follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Work effectively as a team contributor as well as independently.

    Assignments may be combination of, but not limited to the following, and/or similar tasks:

  • Open, update and close arrest warrants and search warrants.

  • Review and update out of county arrests after contacting and receiving the dockets from the arresting agency.

  • Update and process Capias & Violation of Probation arrest cases.

  • Process Transmittal Filing Packets and digital media received via email and paper.

  • Review J1 calendars for proper assignment of court arraignments.

  • Review and update Arraignment Calendar daily.

  • Review case files, ensuring all necessary dockets are uploaded and all relationships are properly added and updated in the case management system.

  • Communicate effectively with Staff, Attorneys, Defendants, Court House, and JSO by email and phone.

  • Assist with Officers filing in person.

  • Copy, print, and scan sensitive information for cases.

    Position Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalency.
