Join GE Appliances as a Senior Area Sales Manager and play a critical role in driving growth and building strong partnerships within the Gulf Coast Region. You'll manage a dynamic territory spanning Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, representing our innovative Air & Water product portfolio to distributors and customers.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Efforts: Drive sales of GEA Air & Water products, including prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding new plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (PHVAC) wholesale distributors.

  • Grow the Territory: Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships to achieve sales and margin goals.

  • Collaborate Strategically: Partner with national account teams and third-party rep firms to execute a comprehensive regional sales growth plan.

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Develop customer-specific programs, resolve issues effectively, and establish credibility and trust.

  • Champion GEA’s Value: Present training sessions and product demonstrations that showcase the value of GEA’s Air & Water solutions.

  • Track Performance: Leverage reporting and analysis tools to measure and optimize sales outcomes.

  • Lead Partnerships: Oversee the Region’s third-party manufacturing representatives to ensure alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the plumbing or HVAC industry (vendor or distributor).

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, peers, and management.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills.

  • Availability to travel (50%) to meet customer needs within the region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Experience developing and implementing strategic territory growth plans.

  • A competitive, solutions-oriented mindset and tenacity for tackling challenges with creativity.

*This is a remote position in the Gulf Coast Region with at least 50% travel.
