Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a part-time, contract Quality Control Technician for a contract position at cutting-edge client in Jacksonville, FL. GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW GRADS OR SENIORS

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Schedule: Part-time 3 days/8hr shifts, 8am-5pm (candidate can choose which days, but must be between Monday-Friday)

Job Responsibilities

· Analysis of materials at all stages of the process based on established testing protocol

· Ensure conformity of the testing results to established product specifications

· Wet chemistry techniques including titration of aldehydes and peroxides

· Perform sample preparation and analysis via gas chromatography

· Preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment including calibrations

· Assisting with evaluation of materials including visual inspection of packaged materials and ensuring representative sampling techniques

· Organization of sample retains

· Organoleptic evaluation of materials

· Data entry of results into ERP system and other data collection systems

· Adherence to GFSI/GLP protocol

· Preparation of documentation as required (SDS, COA, specification sheet)

· Sampling activities for sales requests

· Regulatory activities as needed at the site

· Other duties as required by the position

Requirements

· Degree preferred in one of the physical sciences

· Laboratory experience a plus

· Attention to detail

· Strong computer and math skills

· Great communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple business units
