Our client, in Jacksonville, Fl is seeking Mechanical Fitters to join their team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be part of the production team supporting the entire manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have Great communication skills, good decision making and problem solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 1st class Mechanical Fitter

Location: Jacksonville, Fl (32218 and 32221)

Pay Range: $26 to $30 depending on skill test results.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:30am

What’s the Job?

• Blueprint reading, target point measurements and torque requirements for large industrial piping systems.

• Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts

• Installing various valves, suction diffusers, guides, circuit setters, expansion tanks, pumps, chillers, automatic air vents, pressure regulators, etc. to make a complete piping system.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 2-5 years' experience or training as a mechanical fitter.

• Knowledge of threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.

• High school diploma or GED
