Job Title: Material Control Specialist

Job Description

As a Material Control Specialist, you will be a key player in our Shipping/Receiving department in a heavy industrial facility. Your primary tasks will include receiving all metal and related parts for assembly, performing cycle counts, and staging product through production. Occasionally, you will operate a sit-down forklift, but the majority of your day will involve being on your feet, lifting and loading 50 pounds, and handling materials. Inventory control and computer skills are preferred.

Overview:

• Job title: Material Handler / Material Control Specialist

• Location: Jacksonville, FL (northside)

• Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (overtime available until 4:30pm) M-F

• Pay: $17-$18/hr (based on experience)

• Manufacturing facility (non-climate controlled)

• Shipping/receiving of metal parts, tools, and electrical components

• Cycle counts, inventory control, and staging materials for production

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is required

• Experience operating forklift is a plus

• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory control

• Ability to use computers and handheld scanners
