Revlon Manager, Maintenance in Jacksonville, Florida

Description

Purpose Statement : Direct, manage, and lead the coordination and prioritization of repair, maintenance, and installation, of machines, tools and equipment.

Core Responsibilities : (not intended to be all inclusive)

  • Participate in development of preventative maintenance program to ensure continuous production operations

  • Direct, plan, organize, assign, review and evaluate the work of subordinates

  • Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards

  • Review productions, quality control and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities

  • Develop and control annual maintenance budget

  • Research and propose equipment and employee utilization for cost effectiveness

  • Prepare and compile operating reports for senior management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment maintenance methods and practices

  • Knowledge of mechanical theories and principles

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Knowledge of mechanics of equipment

  • Knowledge of packaging and processing equipment operation

  • Skill in developing and delivering effective presentations

  • Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access

  • Ability to direct, plan, organize, assign, review and evaluate the work of subordinates

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

  • Ability to calculate financial figures and equipment performance

  • Ability to interpret and adhere to union contract

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information

Requirements :

  • AA/AS in Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related degree

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • 5 years packaging and processing equipment maintenance management experience

  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical test meters and reading schematics and electrical drawings and diagrams

  • Nondurable goods manufacturing experience preferred

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
