Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating various CNC machines including the Angle line, Beam line, DO All Saw, Saw, and Plasma table. While programming is predominantly completed, the operator will need to possess the capability to make necessary edits. The role primarily involves working with Structural Steel, requiring the operator to troubleshoot machines, change blades, and use both hand and power tools effectively. Additionally, the operator will interpret blueprints to cut and shape steel according to specified requirements and use a tape measure for precision. Responsibilities also include operating a sit-down forklift for material handling tasks.

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of Machine Operation in a fabrication setting

• 1+ years of Structural Steel experience

• Proficient in reading tape measure

• 3+ years of Blueprint reading

• Mechanically inclined

• Proficient with hand and power tools

• Ability to troubleshoot machinery

• Forklift operation

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.

Work Environment

The position is based in a small shop environment which is not climate controlled.
