Financial Reporting Senior Manager

The Financial Reporting Senior Manager manages all internal and external management reporting for the Bank supporting both finance and controllership groups. This role is responsible for providing oversight and management of key functions related to risk, management reporting, Board reporting, investor reporting and driving efficiencies within the finance and accounting functions. This role also supports the controllership team with regulatory and GAAP reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establishes, enhances and maintains appropriate internal controls over financial reporting.

  • Leads efficient management reporting processes to provide executives with financial information to aid in decision making.

  • Manages relationships with ratings agencies while providing periodic financial information and leading annual reviews.

  • Oversees preparation of financial reporting to external parties such as regulators, investors and Board.

  • Partners with the business units and controllership to maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

  • Performs analysis of the financial statements and key metrics to understand and communicate bank’s performance.

  • Manages a team and work independently with litter supervision or oversight.

  • Supports financial reporting needs for corporate development team and client facing leaders.

  • Coordinates/completes ad hoc reporting as requested.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

This position is Hybrid. Hybrid work is a minimum of four days per week onsite with one flexible day to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University (degree) preferred in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA, MBA or related post-graduate degree or license preferred

  • Experience preparing financial reporting to external parties such as regulators, investors, and Board.

  • Understanding of US GAAP and regulatory requirements

Pay Range $115,500 to $156,200
