The DC Designated Trainer will assist the Manager/Supervisor and Sr. Department Leads with setting training plans, participate in training exercises, and maintain proper training documentation. This position will conduct the training of new hires, department transfers, and temporary associates on proper work procedures, equipment operation, and safety policies and procedures. The DC Designated Trainer will also participate in facility/department audits to ensure team members are complying with safety programs and company policies. This person will also support the operation in other functions as needed depending on business need. This position reports to: Department Manager/Supervisor

Evening Shift Monday-Friday from 4:00PM to 12:00AM
What you will make: Pay starts at $20.00/hr.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Initiate and conduct office and on the job training sessions utilizing soft skills to work with a diverse workforce and facilitating a comfortable and productive learning environment. This includes following up with team members to ensure correct processes and policies are being followed, as demonstrated in their training.
Work with the Department Manager/Supervisor to determine a training schedule and conduct weekly assessments to determine if the Team Member or temporary associate has a complete understanding of the training.
Knowledge of WMS applications or ability to learn in order to complete any needed tasks and fulfill alternate roles when not conducting training sessions.
Communicate training progress to Sr. Department Leads and Management and make recommendations on trainees’ ability to absorb the training and ability to identify if a different department would be recommended.
Willingness to participate in continued education on train the trainer classes or workshops, serve on the Safety Committee, and participate in the incident review process to confirm if Team Members were following policies as trained.
Be a positive example and role model for driving a Culture of Safety First.
Become a mentor to the team by being available to answer the team’s questions and issues that arise that are not covered during basic trainings.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate forklift and other powered equipment essential to the position.
Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Need to have strong communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Environmental Job Conditions
Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.
Located in an indoor environment with exposure to changing temperatures, including heat and cold, noise and dust.
Perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry
When needed stand, sit, bend, twist, lift for up to 8 hours a day.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $20.00.
