Ready to serve as an assistant floor supervisor in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment? This could be your next career opportunity. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations, define KPIs, identify process improvements and continuously work to elevate throughput and quality. Do you possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, food safety and good management practices? Will you build an efficient, positive, motivational and transparent working relationship with the Floor supervisor, other teams and members of management? This is a Monday through Thursday job with occassional overtime on Fridays so if you like long weekends this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Influence and motivate Production Associates to change their behavior as needed and follow best practices as agreed upon by management

• Set examples and ensure compliance with proper attire, PPE, GMPs, and SSOPs as appropriate in production areas

• Understand and maintain all HACCP and CCP-related forms, best practices, and safety protocols consistently, while filling out all paperwork according to requirements

• Identify and clearly communicate any safety-related issues to management, maintenance, and/or QC personnel immediately

• Attention to detail in comparing paperwork with actual raw material on the production floor, from food products to packaging material, and making suggestions or corrections as appropriate

• Consistent attendance, with little to no incidents of tardiness or leaving early without sufficient prior approval

• Clear and respectful communication with many different cultures and with individuals who may or may not speak the same language

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
