Bureau of Naval Personnel ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in Jacksonville, Florida

Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the NAVY MANPOWER ANALYSIS CENTER (NAVMAC) of NAVMAC DET JAX. Responsibilities You will develop written documents such as correspondence, spreadsheets, memoranda, reports, presentations, and briefing packages. You will provide administrative support to detachment personnel in day-to-day operations, including: scheduling, records management, travel, training, information systems, and procurements. You will apply analytical and technical methods and techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate data and information, draw conclusions and recommend courses of action. You will execute independent judgment and lead assigned projects to completion. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating experience/knowledge of administrative personnel operations to provide guidance and advice regarding administrative matters, records management, and ways to improve current processes. 2) Applying analytical, evaluative, and technical methods and techniques to gather, analyze, evaluate and synthesize data and information, draw conclusions, and recommend courses of action. 3) Executing independent judgment using an analytical methodology to support data-driven factual recommendations and project management experience to plan, oversee and lead projects to completion. 4) Effectively developing and delivering briefings, training, data analysis, status reports, results from recommendations, and ability to use standard software systems to design specialized reports: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
