Job Description:

The Department of Pathology within COMJ and partnership with Health Outcomes & Biomedical Informatics(HOBI) in COMG seek a PhD Research Assistant Professor position. The Research Assistant professor position will require collaboration with other faculty, scientist and health professionals in the two Departments (Pathology and HOBI), across the UF College of medicine campuses in Jacksonville and Gainesville and nationally on the design, coordination and implementation of AI, informatics and data science research for federal and state funded projects.

Primary duties are to engage across departments to conduct mission-aligned research that results in multidisciplinary publications and national presentations as well as secure federal, state and industry funding to support said research efforts.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD researcher with experience and ability to secure federal, state and industry funding to support research efforts.
