Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning properly, addressing maintenance needs promptly, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate between shifts and with the maintenance team.

• Conduct daily walk-throughs to assess facility needs, including compressors and HVAC systems.

• Meet with production to discuss maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.

• Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned machine cells, including hooking up laptops, diagnosing issues, scheduling downtime, repairing injection machines, lubricating, performing tear downs, re-builds, re-wiring, replacing parts, and maintaining robotics.

• Respond to breakdown calls with urgency and accuracy.

• Log all maintenance tasks and paperwork.

Essential Skills

• Experience with plastic processing, including injection, extrusion, and blow molding.

• Multi-craft experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Electrical skills in 3-phase motors, VFDs, PLCs, and conduit work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues.

• Familiarity with blueprint and schematic reading.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00
