Intermountain Health Cybersecurity Analyst IAM - Staff in Jackson, Mississippi
Job Description:
The Cybersecurity-Staff is responsible for design, engineering and support of enterprise identity access management solutions. This individual is also responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise standards and following established security industry standards. Functions independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.
Job Functions:
Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots perimeter network equipment.
Network security focus with proven knowledge of security industry practices.
Understands perimeter network design and architecture including firewalls, DMZs, VPNs, VLANs, VIPs, NAT, high availability and other complex networking. Preference given to Cisco ISE experience.
Some server and system administration for Linux/UNIX, comfortable at command prompt.
Assists in monitoring and testing of network performance and provides network performance statistics and reports as well as capacity planning.
Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages and/or e-mails.
Schedules and performs network improvements, upgrades and repairs as assigned.
Assists in network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.
Adheres to procedures for logging, reporting and statistically monitoring network data.
Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing an entry-level cybersecurity industry certification such as Security+ 1-2 years of related work experience
Basic understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts
Troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of scripting
familiarity with SQL and database concepts
Working understanding of information security related regulations
Working skills in analysis, attention to detail, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making
Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
