Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Millwright responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing equipment, primarily focusing on mechanical repairs. You will report to the home office in Jackson, meet with your manager to discuss the day's work, and then drive a company truck to the plant, often traveling with a colleague.
Responsibilities
Reading blueprints and schematics
Installing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using layouts
Using hand and power tools
Troubleshooting machinery
Fabricating parts through MIG or stick welding
Performing preventative maintenance
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role (Millwright, Welder/Fabricator, Maintenance Tech, etc.)
Ability to interpret blueprint and schematic readings
Proficiency in welding (MIG or Stick) and fabricating
Ownership of basic hand tools
Ability to work both on a team and independently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in mechanical maintenance
Electrical knowledge
Fabrication skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $56160.00/yr.
Vacation
Medical benefits are through Blue Care Network (single coverage $50, couple $90, family $120 per pay period)
Aflac is available
$10,000 life insurance policy, employees can enroll in additional coverage
401k is 3% match if they put in 6%.
