Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist (aircraft) in the Quality Assurance Department of FRC WESTPAC DET IWAKUNI. Responsibilities You will manage the Quality Program Division activities in administering leave, assigning work, identifying training needs, etc. You will provide technical analysis and assist in review s of quality programs to revise procedures as needed. You will facilitate timely receipt and dissemination of information vital to the accomplishment of priority quality investigations relating to flight safety and personnel hazards. You will ensure all quality issues impacting, safety, compliance, or possible liability are brought to the attention of applicable management. You will direct and develop plans to implement corrective/preventive action, improve procedures, and establish systems for evaluating the quality of products and processes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) studies, analyze the results and develop sound recommendations for corrections and improvements in the QA program; 2) Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, instructions, technical manuals and other technical material; 3) Plan for and guide organization in monitoring and addressing programs performance; and 4) Measure performance with metrics and assessments.
