Our customer is looking for an AV Infrastructure Technician to join their team! The AV Infrastructure Field Technician will hand various tasks including installations and what is listen below. This includes:

• Pulling and terminating cabling

• Cable and jack labelling

• Soldering

• Generating material lists for projects to go to procurement

• Identifying cable path to Telecommunications Rooms

• Some basic system installation tasks

It DOES NOT include any permanent mounting, installation of cable path (conduit), modifying ceiling tiles beyond the protected scope, removal of structurally mounted items, any high voltage work, or any other trades-protected work.

This technician would be a member of the AV Infrastructure team and managed on site.

Hardware Installs, Cat5, Cat6, running conduit, Installations, Troubleshooting, Punchdown, Wap

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Skills and Requirements:

• Non-union

• Experience in electrical and construction trades

• Basic understanding of networking concepts

• Experience in low voltage wire pulling and terminating

• Able to assess parts and materials needed for jobs, organizing that information for procurement, itemizing materials used per job for billing

• Able to work alongside electrical contractors and our team with the positive, team-focused attitude that we value

• Reliable personal vehicle

• Proactive; able to self-manage workload and communicate accurate expected completion

• Adaptable; able to move from jobsite to jobsite based on daily priorities. Able to move from working alone, to working with our team, to working with electrical contractors fluidly

• Willing to partake in professional development, including fiber training

• May require flexible hours (though we will try to avoid that), but sometimes may need to work an evening or weekend to hit a deadline

• We will supply tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
