Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Issaquah, WA. Interested? Here's what you'd do: Responsible for monthly financial close of headquarters general administrative cost centers (IT, HR, and Management), including preparation of journal entries, setting accruals, and explanations & commentary in case of variances. Lead the monthly forecasting for responsible cost centers closely aligned with the IT, HR, and management teams. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cost center spending, with a focus on ROI, to optimize the business's capital allocation decisions. Manage Jedox, the Headquarters Finance forecasting and budgeting tool, every month during the forecasting period, including running allocations, loading actual data, and coordinating with the Jedox IT team to resolve any technical issues. Support Finance team members regarding forecasting processes and data inputs and communicate the schedule with the due. Support resolving operational issues as and when directed. Drive forward automation and digitalization efforts in areas of responsibility, such as automated reporting via Artificial Intelligence. Transfers and applies know-how to/in various contexts. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum of 5 years experience in finance or accounting. Minimum of 5 years experience in cost center controlling, monthly closing activities & accounting, financial planning & analysis. Minimum of 5 years experience using Jedox or Hyperion. Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP (or other ERP) and MS-Excel. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Masters domain. Good analytical ability and attention to detail to identify variances, trends, and anomalies in financial data, proactively trigger necessary actions, and simultaneously provide accurate and reliable data under deadlines. Proven ability to drive insights from large datasets. Passionate team player with a good service mentality, going the extra mile to meet stakeholders' expectations. Execution-driven and focused mindset to continuously strive for improvements with a perfect problem-solving skillset. Knowledge of PowerBI & Qlik and VBA or other coding. Good interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, and communication skills. Fluent in English (other languages, mainly German). Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence. Writing proficiency. Ability to meet deadlines. Proactive working style. Good analytical ability.
