Caterpillar Financial Services in Munich is looking for a Compliance Risk Consultant , who will ensure compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards, policies & procedures, applicable laws & regulations, and examines any non-compliance issues, including the evaluation and examination of the adequacy of internal controls.
What You Will Do:
Deputy for Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention (Central Office) and Whistleblower Protection Act
Advising and supporting operational departments on data protection, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) as well as on upcoming changes in legal or enterprise requirements in the daily business securing compliance with legal and enterprise policies.
Assessing the impact of regulatory change, advising Management and Compliance, and updating written regulations
Developing, implementing, and monitoring internal security measures and control actions
Participating in the creation of the annual audit and control plan
Handling official information requests
Compliance Reporting: Event-related reporting to management and preparing an annual activity report
Ensuring internal training measures in data protection, ESG, and DORA
Collaborating and coordinating with the Group Compliance Department and related compliance offices
Acting as the contact person for data protection, ESG, and DORA matters, especially with supervisory authorities and auditors

Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors, with excellent knowledge of German and English languages, both written and spoken.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environment.
Financial Laws and Regulations: Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to the banking and financial services industry; ability to interpret, identify, respond, and take appropriate actions on legal issues while ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Regulatory Environment - Financial Services: Knowledge of regulatory environment; ability to help an organization comply with regulations at the federal, state and local level and follow the organization-specific policies and guidelines, affecting business practices.
Your Qualifications:
Successfully completed studies in Law
Professional experience in Financial Services, Compliance, Audit, or Legal
Strong knowledge in Risk, Conflict, and Change Management
Excellent understanding of relevant legal frameworks
Proficient in presentation and training techniques
