Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in Irving, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of our team in the service industry, working primarily on processing and maintaining customer credit records, and monitoring customer credit accounts. This role will also involve handling data analysis and interpretation to support decision making and improve our data quality monitoring practices.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking action for delinquent payments

• Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data

• Identifying and correcting code problems by filtering data and reviewing reports

• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting patterns and trends in data sets

• Developing data quality monitoring practices and capabilities

• Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications

• Building Power BI reports to visualize trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

• Working closely with data engineers and business teams to improve data models that feed Power BI and increase data accessibility

• Leading business requirement sessions with stakeholders to elicit clear and comprehensive requirements for system features and enhancements

• Supporting Data and Analytics leadership’s work by defining key performance indicators (KPI’s) and building dashboards to support ongoing reporting and analysis of business results

• Developing and executing SQL scripts to test data conversions and perform ad-hoc analysis

• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques

• Strong skills in Data Analysis

• Experience with Data Mapping

• Knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting

• Expertise in Financial Analysis

• Proficient in Internal Reporting

• Ability to prepare Monthly Statements

• Experience in Accounting Management

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies

• Proficiency in SQL or Structured Query Language
