Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer - Applications in Irving, Texas.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer - Applications will be responsible for performing front-end technical lead activities on the Migration team for our Card Service Platform Application. Developing, integrating, debugging, implementing, and testing various client/server N-tier web applications using multiple UI technologies and software development methodologies. Developing responsive single page web applications using HTML5, CSS3, React JS, Node JS, jQuery, Bootstrap and Ajax that communicate with backend applications via RESTFUL API. Handling software development life cycle phases like requirement analysis, implementation and maintenance with AGILE, SCRUM, and Waterfall methodologies. Implementing presentation layer using CSS Framework, Wireframing, and Bootstrap. Performing unit testing of various modules by generating test cases using Jest and Enzyme. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field plus 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with each of the following: application architecture; designing responsive webpages; analyzing the requirements with business team; unit testing of various modules by generating the test cases; developing single page applications (SPA); HTML/HTML5, CSS2/CSS3, JavaScript, React JS, Node JS, Angular JS, Bootstrap, AJAX, jQuery, Restful, SOAP services, Web Services, SQL, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall methodologies, and MongoDB.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,781 - $155,000.
