About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant within Auto as part of Auto Strategic Alliances & Relationship Management. This role is will report directly to the Auto Relationship Management Strategy & Support Director.
In this role, you will:
Act as an extension of the Relationship Management Strategy & Support Director by playing a key role in driving and contributing to key initiatives that impact the Retail Auto Relationship Management team.
Act as lead and point of contact for varied areas of focus and responsibility across the Relationship Management Strategy & Support team; for example, communications, RM education, data analysis, policy & procedure updates, etc.
Act as Lead on strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by Relationship Management Strategy & Support Director.
Participate cross-functionally within internal workgroups on behalf of the Auto Strategic Alliances and Relationship Management organization to ensure effectiveness and impact.
Provide strategic support across various areas for specialized teams of relationship managers and regional managers.
Responsible for communication of events and internal PnP changes impacting the Relationship Management.
Proactively identify areas of opportunity and propose solutions and strategies for improvement.
Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of the business.
Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
The Senior Business Execution Consultant will act as a partner to the Retail Auto Relationship Management Managers to:
Collaborate and identify relationship management and dealer engagement opportunities; address areas of concern and develop market specific strategies for maximizing dealer relationships.
Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommend action plans to upper management.
Ensure fair and consistent application of organization’s and company’s objectives, KPI’s, SLA’s, and OKR’s sales objectives across assigned regional teams.
Support the training and development of Relationship Management team on all products, services, and sales/relationship management techniques related to Wells Fargo Auto credit products.
Perform joint field calls to dealers in conjunction with Relationship Managers and Management for observation to ensure they are managing relationships in accordance with Wells Fargo Auto policy and guidelines.
Analyze sales statistics, market opportunities and competition within assigned Regional Sales Territories to ensure proper allocation of business development resources.
Train Relationship Management team on the policies and procedures regarding the maintenance of current and new documentation and/or information for dealer files and ensure adherence to these policies.
May assist Relationship Management Managers with interviewing and recommending the best possible candidates for new ARM roles while ensuring a succession plan for minimizing impact of employee turnover.
Ensure Relationship Management team has thorough and up to date information about Wells Fargo Auto products and programs; and immediately notify of changes as they occur.
Ensures Relationship Management Managers hold regularly scheduled sales meeting within region to maintain consistency with messages relayed to team and dealers.
On behalf of the Relationship Management Strategy & Support Director and senior Relationship Management Managers, may provide evaluation of Relationship Managers and Relationship Management Manager’s activity to ensure goal attainment, as well as identify and report any areas of concern to the Relationship Management Market Manager.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of prior/current auto experience in a dealership or dealer facing sales/relationship management role is desired
Current, extensive knowledge and use of Wells Fargo Auto's policy and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Highly analytical and adept at using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to draw conclusions to tell the story
Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities
Ability to form a story through data analysis
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work independently and self-directed, while also working cross-collaboratively
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and clear fashion, deliver effective presentations with clear storytelling
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Selected candidate must be able to support relationships based in east coast and west coast time zones.
