Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager 1 in Irving, Texas to manage the customer support function for Accounts Payable within Finance Shared Services. The customer support team manages approximately 40,000 inquiries per year from suppliers and employees of Northrop Grumman. The Manager coordinates tiered support with the Accounts Payable operation teams for an efficient and effective service delivery.

This position does not offer a virtual arrangement; candidates must be available to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our Irving, TX location.

The Manager effectively uses metrics and best practice experience to lead the team tactically and strategically. We are seeking a leader who proactively listens, understands, and identifies the customers’ true​ needs and delivers a low-effort experience by providing tools and processes that meet the business objectives of stakeholders. The Customer Support team provides training and process support related to our systems and policies.

This position will require excellent written and verbal communication as well as a shared services approach.

Basic Requirements

  • On-site presence at least 2 days per week at our Irving, TX location.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

  • 5 years management experience of exempt, non-exempt, and contractor workforce of more than 8 people in size.

  • Demonstrated history of talent and team development.

  • 5 years help desk management experience including primary escalation point of contact.

  • Accounts Payable experience and related accounting.

  • Process development experience.

  • Process and procedural documentation including flow charts and decision trees.

  • SAP experience.

  • Application of project management fundamentals.

Salary Range: $99,800 - $149,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
