Job Summary:
The Lead IT Business Specialist provides technology solutions within Resource Industries segment to align with business opportunities, ensuring seamless application planning and execution. Fosters productive relationships with internal and external clients, as well as vendors and partners. Acts as Team Lead providing direction, motivation, and coordination. Manages a portfolio of projects, overseeing budget allocation, risk reduction, communication at all levels, problem solving and resource management.
What You Will Do:
Strategic roadmap planning or framework for a program, and overseeing the implementation of that plan/roadmap
Assists with leading and guiding technical leads and project managers
Stakeholder management: Recognizing and engaging with people and organizations that could be affected by the program
Budgeting: Planning and overseeing a project's budget, SOWs and adherence to SLA’s
Risk mitigation: Mitigating compliance and security risks that come with vendor relationships
Vendor Management: Regularly reviewing vendor performance, compliance, budget, invoicing, KPIs
What You Will Have:
Problem Solving:
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Requirements Analysis:
- Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Technical Troubleshooting:
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience with vendor management
Experience creating, revising and meeting metrics around SLA’s and SOW’s
Experience acting as team lead providing direction and mentoring teams
Additional Info :
- Must be willing to work out of one of the locations provided AND work out of the office 3 times a week.
