Accenture Director, Data & AI Sales – Healthcare & Public Services in Irving, Texas

You are:

A dynamic Data & AI leader with a strong track record of identifying, shaping, and closing large Data & AI deals in healthcare and public services. You excel at driving net-new sales, expanding market presence, and helping clients leverage AI, Gen AI, and data-driven solutions to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance patient and member experiences.

You bring a deep understanding of the healthcare industry—including provider, payer, and life sciences landscapes—and can effectively engage CIOs, CDAOs, CFOs, and COOs to position AI and analytics as strategic enablers of transformation. Your ability to sell complex solutions and lead large pursuits sets you apart in the industry.

Beyond sales, you possess strong data & analytics acumen, enabling you to speak the language of IT and business leaders alike. Whether discussing data modernization, AI-powered automation, or analytics transformation, you can effectively align solutions with client needs. Your expertise in data strategy, AI-driven decision-making, and digital transformation ensures that you drive meaningful impact in every pursuit.

The work:

  • Originate and drive large Data & AI pursuits across healthcare providers and payors, aligning solutions with industry needs.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales processes —from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

  • Engage and build trusted relationships with senior client executives , including CIOs, CDAOs, and other healthcare IT and operations leaders.

  • Drive AI-powered transformation across contact center operations, BPO optimization, patient engagement, and analytics-led cost reduction.

  • Leverage deep data analytics expertise to position Accenture’s solutions in a way that resonates with both IT and business leaders.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends —bringing insights on cloud-based data platforms, AI-driven automation, and generative AI’s role in healthcare.

  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data & AI sales, strategy, or leadership roles, with a proven track record of selling and delivering large-scale analytics solutions.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ Sales Pursuit Management experience in large-scale, high-value deals and driving transformation projects

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data platforms, AI-powered automation, and cloud-based analytics solutions (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS, Databricks).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling AI and Gen AI solutions for healthcare operations, including contact center transformation, BPO optimization, and clinical analytics.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably in value greater than $20M

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing the entire sales cycle (customer identification, outreach, proposal creation, contract negotiations, closing, metrics reporting)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms
