Data Scientist
Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Irving, TX: Data Scientist to Model and deploy data analytics, data mining, algorithm development and technical solutions. Duties include: leverages business acumen to identify problems and opportunities where data science can be applied; apply analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to structured and unstructured data; engage with data engineering operations such as staging of data pulling in from On Prem or Cloud data warehouses; prepare and present analysis and results to colleagues at all levels of the organization; review with Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, Data Engineering, Solutions Architects, and clients to data flows, user interfaces, and ensure ongoing production support; and implement project plans and strategy to deliver measurable benefits against timelines and deliverables through data science projects. Multiple positions.
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related data science occupation: Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: Deep learning, and programming with Python and SQL; Statistical analysis and mathematical modeling; NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCity, Pytorch, or Spark NLP); Translate technical models and implications; and Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases.
