Citigroup Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Design and develop Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology software applications as part of Citi’s Customer Communication and Document Management platforms. Oversee deliverables for several simultaneous, complex North America software releases for all teams in Customer Communication and Document Management development area including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) deliverables, risk/issue management, and overall execution planning. Collaborate with various project teams to analyze communications’ business and customer requirements, identify, and analyze problems, and develop innovative solutions. Perform capacity tracking, feasibility analysis, service reliability assessments and cost-effort estimations for incoming application development initiatives and projects. Liaise with other technology stakeholders to design and implement appropriate system environments, while mentoring and training junior software analysts. Ensure overall compliance with Citi’s internal technology protocols as well as regulatory standards. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the IT industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Using Core Java, JEE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST/JSON, Angular JS, Hazelcast clustering, Load Balancing, Multi-Threading, Memory Management, Performance tuning, and API management tools to design and develop robust and scalable applications; Working with CI/CD frameworks and tools including Jenkins, RLM, and Bitbucket to ensure the proper versioning of the build and deployment of the code, release management and drive automation; Deploying the microservices in cloud environment PCF or OpenShift in accordance with architectural design; Overseeing MongoDB or Oracle Database for effective data management; and Using IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS and Kafka messaging to facilitate asynchronous communication within systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
