Citigroup Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Lead the development of complex, high-volume, self-service internet applications with Microservices, APIs, JSON, and REST web services. Analyze user needs, translate business requirements, and prepare detailed technical specifications from which the applications will be coded. Build cloud enabled software applications using Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework. Responsible for continuous integration and continuous deployment of software applications using Jenkins. Utilize MongoDB, Oracle, Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL to build programs to push data to databases. Ensure that final technology products meet Citi standards and technical specifications. Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications using Gherkin, Cucumber, Junit, and Mockito. Utilize BitBucket for version controlling and parallel development. Ensure the adequate implementation and documentation of complex software programs. Work with stakeholders to implement technical design charters to ensure that application enhancements are compliant with technology roadmaps. Monitor systems functioning, and provide user and operational application support. Remain abreast of industry trends and standards to ensure that current and future internet application development continues to utilize cutting-edge technologies and meets acceptable industry standards. Improve the design of existing programs and optimize system performance. Support the implementation of new development methodologies in the Agile spectrum. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Microservices Developer, or related position involving software development. 6 years of experience must include: Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, Java, J2EE, & Spring framework; Jenkins; MongoDB, Oracle, Hibernate, SQL, & NoSQL; Microservices, APIs, JSON, & REST; Apache Kafka & Agile SCRUM; and Gherkin, Cucumber, JUnit, & Mockito.
